Lionel Messi puts a defender on the ground with a juke, scores a classic goal. Barcelona and Bayern Munich were tied 0-0 in the first leg of their Champions League semifinal when Lionel Messi decided to take over, scoring two goals in five minutes.
The second goal was a classic. In the 80th minute, Messi found room on the right side of the box, showed some beautiful footwork, made defender Jerome Boateng fall over, and lofted a shot into the goal:

The outcome, though, was in doubt until late in the game. The first goal was a blast from just outside the 18-yard box in the 77th minute. The second score, which embarrassed one defender, came three minutes later.

On the first goal, Messi curled a left-footed shot past two defenders and into the lower left net of the goal past diving Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
The second goal was just as impressive. Messi left defender Jerome Boateng falling over backward as he sprinted inside the 18-yard box with the ball. Messi then chipped a right-footed shot over Neuer as he came off the goal line to try to give the Barcelona striker less of a target at which to shoot.
For good measure, Messi assisted on the third goal with a deft pass from midfield in stoppage time that Neymar collected on the run and then shot past Neuer.
