France legend Zinedine Zidane is returning as Real Madrid manager on Monday, March 11 only 10 months after leaving the post. Zidane replaces former Argentina midfielder Santiago Solari, who was in the hot seat for less than five months.
Former Real superstar Zidane left the Spanish capital in May after leading the club to a third successive Champions League trophy.
Real are currently placed third in La Liga, 12 points behind leaders Barcelona.
Solari was sacked after a 4-1 win over Real Valladolid on Sunday – which followed a shock Champions League exit at the hands of Dutch club Ajax.
