On 6 March 1902, the first official board meeting of Madrid Foot Ball Club was held and this marked the beginning of the legacy of the best club in the world. One hundred and seventeen years on, Real Madrid have secured 23 European crowns (13 won by the football team and 10 by the basketball side) and the club continues to add to its legacy, with 2018 seeing the Whites become the first club to taste continental glory in both sports in the same season.
