Twitter exploded Liverpool benching their stars, but there seems a whole lot more to Liverpool’s struggles than just the benching of players like Gerrard and Balotelli. Cristiano Ronaldo did not make Champions League history and is still 2 goals short of the all time record. Knowing Ronaldo’s talent, it is only a matter of time before that record is rightfully his.
