That’s according to reports in Spain. Neymar’s much-anticipated return to Barcelona has been one of the main talking points of the summer. The Brazilian superstar is desperate to leave Paris Saint-Germain before the European transfer window closes on September 2.Just two years after becoming the most expensive player of all time – having signed for PSG in a £198million deal – Neymar wants out of Paris. He is apparently unhappy with the quality of football in Ligue 1, which PSG have won twice in a row. He reportedly told PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi that he regretted leaving Barcelona, and wanted to return. Real Madrid have also been interested in the forward, however they are expected to prioritise a move for Paul Pogba instead. Barcelona chiefs met with PSG officials last week in an attempt to iron out a deal, but were unable to agree on terms. The Spanish giants are keen to include players and cash for Neymar, while PSG want more money upfront – close to €120m [£109m] as well as two players.
